The Independent Study & Mentorship (ISM) program that is offered in Frisco ISD provides students with the opportunity to explore and research more about the topic and career that they find interesting. With the help of a mentor, students gain useful skills for their future careers and hands-on experience. In ISM 2, I am able to expand on my research from last year. My goals for my continued time with the ISM program are to acquire new insight on learning more about injury prevention in the sports medicine field and to create a lasting connection with my mentor.
