Time Out

While working hard is important, stepping away for a bit can help to provide a fresh perspective on an issue.

During my Thanksgiving break, I was able to recuperate and prepare myself for the next few weeks of work. This is the homestretch before a new semester and a new start, so I need to finish strong. Over the break, I attempted to do some preliminary research for my original work. However, I found it difficult to make much progress to find the information I needed. Despite this, I was able to create a plan to help me tackle my original work and create a successful product after some well-needed rest.

By stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, I was able to admire the work I have done so far and figure out how I would like to utilize my opportunities in the ISM Program. While I was previously struggling with how to deal with the obstacles I faced as I researched, gaining a new perspective by taking time off was very beneficial. The rest allowed me to gain the strength I needed to finish the semester off strong and complete projects that I can be proud of making.
