Different, but Good Different

If you're here from my last blog, let me get you all caught up.

Attending the ISM professional symposium felt very different from last year. This year I was exposed to more of the inner workings of the symposium. I was fortunate enough to be able to interview with some amazing professionals who provided me with productive feedback. I was also able to be the one interviewing other Frisco ISD ISM students. The new perspective was very insightful and taught me how I should go about my own interviews in the future.

In addition to the new outlook on interviews, I also loved the professional and student panels this year. They were all extremely engaging and reminded me about how beneficial ISM will be in my future. All in all, I would say this year's symposium was successful.

While I most likely will not be able to attend next year’s symposium, I will utilize the skills that I have gained from the experience and apply them to my daily life. ISM has truly become a class where I can explore the professional world at low-stakes and pursue my interests. I can’t wait to see how the year continues to progress and how my ISM experiences will differ from last years!
