Getting Gallery Ready

Happy New Year! Welcome to my first blog of 2025!

We have just come back from a Winter Break 2.0 due to the winter storm that hit north Texas, but I wanted to give a quick update on what I have completed so far and what major checkpoints are coming up soon in ISM.

To begin, I created an informational pamphlet and helmet modification proposal for my original work, which you can check out under the projects tab on the menu. My research and creation process is all documented there as well, so I recommend taking a look if you’re interested.

Now that I have completed my original work and the second semester has begun, the entire ISM program is preparing for our campus gallery walks (ours is this Friday) and the Research Showcase, which I believe is set to be sometime later this month. I am currently working on putting the finishing touches on my poster board, so it should be completed soon. I can’t wait to share my experiences in ISM with the underclassmen who are interested in the program and to learn more about the research that my fellow ISM classmates have conducted on their topics of interest!
