Having a Ball!

Although I last posted about the campus gallery walk in my last blog, quite a bit has happened since then.
The gallery walk itself was quite a success, and I was able to share my love for the ISM program with many of my fellow students. Hopefully I recruited quite a few people to also join the program to dive deeper into their interests. However, that was not the only major event that has occurred.
The annual Frisco ISD ISM Research Showcase was also last week. At the showcase, I was able to display all of the research I had done in the first semester for people from all across the Frisco ISD district to see. I was also able to catch up with some of my friends in ISM from other schools and learn more about what other ISM students had completed as their original works during the first semester. (There was even a programmed Iron Man mask!!) It was so much fun to see all of the creativity and hard work that each one of them had put into their display boards as well.
In particular, I was really excited to see what Addie Salvosa, my middle school friend and fellow ISM 2 student (though at Lebanon Trail), had done in ISM since she switched topics from journalism to psychology. If you’d like, you can check out some of her work at https://addiesalvosa.wixsite.com/my-site-3. It was truly amazing to see all of the work she has put in as well as all the other ISM students.
From here on out, I will be focusing more on my final product and my mentor visits, so hopefully my next blog will be able to give you a more in depth look into what is to come!
