Hello again! Did you miss me? I am finally back after a few weeks off. In that time I have completed some independent research on concussions and potential prevention methods. I am looking to focus on the topic of injury prevention equipment this year, so that was a good start. But for today, I would like to touch on what the week ahead of me looks like. The ISM Professional Symposium is this Wednesday and I will be participating in both the morning and afternoon session. I will be helping out for the morning session and participating in the afternoon rounds. I can’t wait to meet other ISM students and new professionals. In fact, this year I have printed business cards in addition to my resumes, so I am excited to see how those turn out. Hopefully they will help make the process of connecting with the people I meet much easier.
Since this is my second year in ISM, I have been striving to set a good example for the ISM 1 students. I hope that I can continue to do that by taking the initiative at the Professional Symposium and make the most of the unique opportunity.
