Sometimes it’s good to step away from things and gain a new perspective. Spending multiple weeks focused on only one point of view can become boring after a while, so it is important to take a break sometimes.
Coming off of winter break last week, I am ready to decide on a mentor and begin planning for my final product. In this upcoming week, I will be working on my plan for my final product and creating a calendar so I can finish it on time. However, I have not come up with a concrete idea of what I want to create yet, so that will be my first step.
Additionally, I have come back from winter break with a new possible approach to my research. I hope to learn more about other aspects of the orthopedic surgeon occupation besides injury prevention and rehabilitation as I continue my research in ISM. Instead, I would like to try and focus on the more surgical aspects and hopefully find proper research on those aspects. While I don’t know exactly what I want to research yet, I am open to all possibilities and will continue to explore as I complete research assessments.
I hope you had a great start to your new year, and I look forward to what this semester will bring!
