I am neck deep into the playoff basketball and AP testing season as May steadily approaches. Despite this, I wanted to leave you with a satisfactory final blog to end my ISM 1 journey. Since I’m sure incoming ISM 1 students will be scrolling through my digital portfolio (I won’t deny that I did the exact same thing before writing my first blog), I decided that I would like to leave you all with one final lesson for the year.
The Independent Study and Mentorship Program that is offered in the Frisco Independent School District is extremely unique and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. That being said, you get what you put into it. If you do not complete your assignments or never take that first step to make that daunting cold call, you will not be able to reach your full potential in this class. While I’m sure Mr. Green has picked a multitude of amazing candidates, it truly is up to you to decide how much work you are willing to put in. Good luck to you all on your journey, and make sure you do the work so you can learn the things!
Thank you so much for following me on my ISM 1 journey and I’ll be back soon!
